A quiet family man with a big heart, he enjoyed watching his two sons play football, and was happiest when surrounded by his loving wife, two sons, or his beloved granddaughter. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved training his dogs and hunting with them. A man of many hobbies, bear hunting, fishing, and more recently, building connections with the people in the local agricultural community. He was a member of the NRA, Huron River Coon Hunters Club, and the UAW for many years. He also was employed for many years at Country Star Agriculture Service and several years working with Ask Me Paving.
